Guests are required to wear a face covering in all public areas of the resort except while dining or when actively enjoying the water park attractions, as the CDC does not recommend wearing a face covering when an individual is likely to get wet. Great Wolf Lodge Southern California will be limiting capacity and will require that all guests ages two and older wear a face covering that fully covers their nose and mouth, and secures under their chin, while visiting the resort. This includes the 105,000-square-foot indoor water park, attractions, various eateries, grand lobby area, and all guest rooms. The reopening plan focuses on disinfection and sanitization, physical distancing, personal protection, and minimizing surface interactions in all guest areas across the resort. Great Wolf Lodge collaborated with medical experts, health officials, sanitation specialists and industrial engineers to develop customized health and safety procedures for the resort. “During our closure, we heard from countless families who said the destination they’re most looking forward to reopening is their local Great Wolf Lodge, and we’re elated because there is nothing more precious to us than providing a joy-filled escape for families.” We’re excited to get families back to having fun, with confidence, because of the new safeguards we have in place across our resorts,” said Murray Hennessy, Chief Executive Officer for Great Wolf Resorts. We have been working to develop and implement comprehensive reopening plans based on guidance and protocols recommended by state health officials and CDC. “The health, safety, and wellbeing of our guests, pack members, and the community has long been our guiding principle at Great Wolf Lodge. Additionally, Great Wolf Lodge introduced its new Paw Pledge program, a company-wide initiative focused on keeping families healthy and safe while they play together at the indoor waterpark resort and developed based on guidance from health authorities and public officials.
